Chris Borella
Chris Borella is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Haymarket Media, Inc. He joined Haymarket in 2023, bringing over 30 years of financial leadership experience and understanding of industry dynamics to the role.
As Chief Financial Officer, Chris Borella is a trusted business partner to the CEO along with the rest of the business and functional leads In his role, Chris oversees all of finance, accounting, audit, acquisitions/divestitures, and integration. Chris also plays a significant role in business operations, collaborating closely with business leads on events, circulation, IT, and contract management.
Previously, as CFO for VML Health Practice and BAV Group, he oversaw a $150M business, managing all of finance including client finance, talent decisions, profitability improvement, and KPI monitoring.
Prior to VML, Chris spent 18 years at Ogilvy, holding various senior finance positions. He was responsible for accounting, financial planning & analysis, and client finance, leading to merged divisions, streamlined operations, improved profitability, and optimized billing and vendor payment cycles. He established a worldwide reporting structure for a $200M business, and oversaw a $20M Real Estate renovation, and primary liaison auditor contact.
