Campaign launches School Reports 2024

Providing individual analysis of the industry’s top 99 agencies

Campaign has published its School Reports for 2024, providing individual analysis of 99 of the industry’s top agencies.

The Campaign editorial team has pulled together a variety of data points – including exclusive Nielsen billings – and its journalism during the year to assess each of the 99 agencies’ performance in 2023.

The top mark is a 9 for outstanding; 8 is an agency that has had an excellent year; 7 is a good one; 6 is satisfactory; 5 is adequate; 4 is below average; 3 is poor; 2 is a year to forget; and 1 denotes that the shop’s survival is in question. This year, agencies that have refused to provide us with details of the proportion of their senior and permanent staff who are women or from an ethnic minority will not get an official mark.

Each agency is judged against itself: its type, size and history. More established and awards-laden agencies might have to do more to earn top marks than a newer shop with a surprising number of wins and good work

Now that its School Reports 2024 are live, keep an eye out as Campaign will be spotlighting the highest-scoring agencies and analyse this year’s Nielsen tables. See which agencies got the highest marks.
