New partnership with The Brief Media Company sees Campaign enter Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania
London, 22 June 2026: Campaign, owned by parent company Haymarket Media Group, today announces its entrance into Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) with the launch of Campaign CEE at the end of the year, in a licence partnership with The Brief Media Company. Campaign CEE is a new English-language platform built to serve the marketing, advertising and media industries across Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania.
Campaign’s entry to CEE is the latest step in its broader global expansion plans for the brand, and follows the world’s leading business advertising and media brand’s entrance into DACH, Canada and Indonesia within the past two years. Operated by Hungarian-based The Brief Media Company, Campaign CEE will connect five fast-moving markets through editorial coverage, awards, events and professional recognition programmes, creating a new regional reference point for marketing, advertising and media.
With Campaign’s events being renowned in their respective markets, Campaign CEE’s portfolio includes the well-established Campaign Agency of the Year, the Signature platform, extending Campaign CEE’s recognition ecosystem to brand-side marketing excellence, CEE Trends, an annual benchmark publication, and CEE Trends Live, its on-stage extension.
Donna Murphy, Managing Director, Haymarket Marketing Communications, said: “Launching across Central and Eastern Europe later this year marks a pivotal milestone, reflecting the strategic importance of these markets to our future growth and expansion.
“For us, partnering with The Brief Media Company is a perfect combination of local intelligence and a unified regional perspective. We benefit from their established expertise to enter a region brimming with untapped potential. The collective creativity and rapid digital evolution across the region aligns wholly with Haymarket and Campaign’s mission to celebrate and support excellence in marketing and communications globally. We look forward to seeing how Campaign CEE will engage and inspire both established leaders and emerging voices in this dynamic and diverse advertising landscape.”
Four senior figures from across the media, marketing and communications industries will be leading the launch of Campaign CEE: Adam Vaszary, CEO of The Brief Media Company and honouree and founder of the Signature platform; Ferenc Hinora, president of the Hungarian Marketing Association; Gabor Varga, executive director of The Brief Media Company and vice president of the Hungarian Association of Communication Agencies; and Peter Szigeti, who will serve as editor-in-chief of Campaign CEE.
Adam Vaszary, CEO & Co-Founder, The Brief Media Company said: “Central and Eastern Europe has never lacked talent, ambition or creative intelligence. What it has lacked is a shared professional stage. Campaign CEE is built to create that stage: a place where five markets can be read together, benchmarked together and connected to the global industry conversation with the authority of Campaign behind it. At the same time, we are not starting from zero. Through Signature, we have already built a recognition platform in Hungary that has mobilised thousands of marketing professionals over the past four years. That know-how is now becoming part of a broader regional infrastructure.”
Peter Szigeti, Editor-in-Chief, Campaign CEE added: “Our editorial ambition is not to flatten the region into one generic story. It is to show how different local realities add up to a meaningful Central and Eastern European narrative. Campaign CEE will look at the people, companies, decisions and tensions shaping the market, with enough regional distance to see patterns, and enough local proximity to understand what really matters.”
Campaign’s entrance to Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania adds to its existing presence in 11 other markets, with dedicated sites already serving the UK, US, DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), Canada, Asia Pacific, China, Japan, Middle East, India, Indonesia and Turkey.
Campaign CEE’s site will replicate the paid-for content strategy of its other regional sites, with full access to all its content available on single subscription and corporate licence.
