Three Haymarket brands recognized at 2024 Neal Awards

The Neal Awards are the highest honor in business to business journalism. Haymarket is a perennial winner at the Neals. The trophy case in the lobby of our New York headquarters is filled with the citations we’ve earned over the years for our work in podcasting, art direction, social media, commentary, news coverage and the body of work of our authors.

This year was no different. Three Haymarket brands—McKnight’s, MM+M and PRWeek—were shortlisted for a total of six awards. And we are happy to report that at a ceremony in New York City on April 26, each brand was recognized for exemplary work with a 2024 Neal Award.

McKnight’s Long-Term Care’s executive editor Jim Berklan won the Neal for best commentary in the $3 million to $7 million category.

PRWeek won in the category of best art direction for a cover in the $3 million to $7 million category for Sean Ayling’s excellent “Period Positivity” cover. This is Sean’s second consecutive Neal Award for cover art direction.

And MM+M’s Marc Iskowitz won, once again, for best range of work by a single author in the $3 million to $7 million category. What makes Marc’s award all the more amazing is that it is the third year in a row Marc has won this category!

We all too often get caught up in the pressures of our daily responsibilities to stop and consider the quality of our work and of our products. Three Neal Awards, and six nominations, for a company the size of Haymarket is an incredible feat and gives us all a great opportunity to stop and say well done and thank you, to our colleagues for their exceptional work.

Please join us in congratulating Jim, Sean and Marc, and every single team member who stands beside them, Congratulations and well done!
