2025 winners share the creativity, collaboration, and innovation behind their award-winning entries
The Work Awards are Haymarket’s global internal programme, celebrating outstanding work from teams across the business. Spanning seven categories, the awards recognise projects and initiatives that demonstrate Haymarket’s commitment to impactful work, remarkable content, innovation, and collaboration.
Each year, colleagues from around the world submit entries showcasing the creativity, teamwork, and dedication that drive results for audiences, clients, and partners. Winners receive cash prizes at every stage – from £500 for highly commended entries to £1,000 for divisional winners, with a £5,000 prize for the global Best of the Best – recognising exceptional contributions and achievements.
Haymarket caught up with some of the 2025 winners to explore what made their work stand out and how their achievements reflect the company’s collaborative, innovative, and ambitious culture.
Outstanding Work with Impact & Best of the Best – Going for B Corp on a global scale
The Outstanding Work with Impact category recognises initiatives that deliver meaningful positive change for society, communities, or the environment. The Best of the Best award is the programme’s top accolade, selected from category winners across all divisions.
The 2025 global winner celebrated Haymarket’s journey to becoming a B Corp Certified organisation, achieving high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.
Tara Geoghegan, Head of Impact & Comms, Professional Services Group:
“Becoming the first media company of our kind to certify globally took an almighty team effort and we wanted our entry to capture this. Nearly three years of assessments, risk screens, data gathering, policy updates, interviews and more, but also how worthwhile and valuable it would be for Haymarket once achieved. We really tried to show the judges just how much work went on behind the scenes, so I’m glad it seemed to have worked!! Even better – between submitting the entry and picking up the award, we’d actually crossed the finish line and officially Certified.
“With any entry, I think the backing and testimonials do wonders too. Having a mix of internal and external support to our submission further solidified the hard work that went into becoming a B Corp and reinforced its global nature.
“After all the efforts that went into Haymarket becoming a B Corp, winning both Outstanding Work with Impact and Best of the Best was an amazing moment, and even more special to share with our colleagues in the US — a true testament of teamwork. What a way to kick off becoming a B Corp!”

John Crewe, Data Protection Officer, US:
“This ‘Best of the Best’ award validates the immense, cross-continental effort of our B Corp journey. It’s a true testament to the entire global Haymarket team for embracing this business transformation. This incredible team effort has embedded our Impact strategy deep into our foundation, ensuring we are not just a media company, but a genuine force for good.”

AI Excellence – P3ter
The AI Excellence category recognises innovative uses of artificial intelligence that enhance products, services, or internal capabilities.
The winning project, P3ter, identifies early insights into global infrastructure projects, enabling the Partnerships brand to deliver exclusive editorial intelligence to its audience.
Paul Jarvis, Managing Editor, P3 Bulletin, Haymarket Professional:
“P3TER tells a great story of bringing together different parts of the business to use technology in a way that drives new and exclusive editorial content, providing the Partnerships brand with weekly content that won’t be found anywhere else. Its development has ensured we remain ahead of our rivals in providing early alerts of potential new projects.”

Junaid Khawaja, Product Manager, Professional Services Group:
“P3ter represents a remarkable breakthrough in using technology to solve customer problems. Our users told us that there is value in knowing which infrastructure projects are in the pipeline before they are made official for tender. The results have been phenomenal: over 100 projects listed as P3ter Opportunities in the Global Projects Tracker, almost 250 articles in P3 Bulletin, and coverage across the US and UK. By the end of the financial year, most US states will be covered too.”
Creative Excellence – Škoda Elroq Stop-Motion Shoot
The Creative Excellence category recognises work that demonstrates originality, technical skill, and collaboration.
Haymarket’s Automotive Studio won for a stop-motion shoot of the Škoda Elroq, delivering an innovative solution to the challenge of filming a car that could not be driven during production.
Tyler Yates, Creative Director, Automotive Studio:
“Faced with the challenge of shooting a car that couldn’t be driven, the team found a fresh, engaging solution: stop-motion. Editing over 800 photos was no small feat, but the result wowed colleagues and clients alike — a perfect example of creativity, perseverance, and technical skill coming together.”

Editorial Excellence – Planning Data Dashboard
The Editorial Excellence category celebrates work that delivers tangible value for audiences through insight, quality, and innovation.
The Planning Data Dashboard provides subscribers with detailed planning data to support decision-making and industry insights.
Richard Garlick, Editor, Planning, Haymarket Professional:
“We were delighted to win the global award for editorial excellence. It recognises the hard work of the Planning editorial and Studio teams in not only conceiving and designing the product, but also maintaining and updating it since its launch in March 2025. Many thanks are also due to the HBI team and external consultant Dan Keogh for their crucial work in bringing the dashboard to life, and ongoing work in maintaining it, and to the DCS subscription sales team for capitalising on its introduction to drive subscription renewals.”
