The team picked up the Best Use of Native Advertising/Sponsored Content award
The Digiday Awards Europe were held on February 27 2024, spotlighting winners who embraced innovative technologies and formats in their campaigns, transcended traditional advertising, and tapped into partnerships that unlocked desired audiences.
Themes across the 2023 winners centred on maximising the use of social media, amplifying brand engagement with tech and establishing synergistic brand partnerships.
Haymarket Automotive Studio took home the Best Use of Native Advertising/Sponsored Content award for their Volkswagen ID. Buzz and What Car? Vans partnerships, which used innovative stop-motion animation to show how Volkswagen’s pace-setting all-electric van and passenger carrier is just as hard-working as its traditional rivals.

Speaking on the win, Neel Desor, Strategy Director Automotive Studio, said: “Industry recognition is a key pillar in the continuing evolution of Automotive Studio, and adding this award to our burgeoning cabinet can only help enhance our reputation with current and future clients, as well as recognising the creativity and drive of the whole team.”
It was a fantastic night for Haymarket Automotive Studio who triumphed over Trip Advisor in the final shortlist of these international awards, recognising them for their effective and creative use of native advertising, and sponsored content used to promote their products, brands, and services.
